How long can I hire a wet abrasive blasting machine for?

Our Quill Falcon wet abrasive blasting machines can be hired for as little as one day, or longer periods as required.

What exprience is needed to operate a Quill Falcon Cyclone machine?

No specialist experience or qualifications are required to be able to use one of our mobile wet abrasive blasting machines. Training is supplied on pick up or delivery.

Do I need PPE to use a portable dustless blasting machine?

Our wet abrasive blasting machines produce minimal dust and therefore no specialist personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. We do, however, recommend protective eye wear, face shield and ear protection as a minimum requirement.

Do you offer on-site delivery?

We can deliver your portable blasting machine throughout metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia. For delivery outside of these areas, please contact us on (08) 8345 0719 or via email.

Do you provide training?

Our trained operators will provide you with full on-site training before using any of our dustless blasting machines. This generally takes around 30 minutes to complete, after which our sandblasters can be used safely.

Do you provide blast media?

With your mobile sandblaster, we will provide blast media that is appropriate for the machine and the sort of blasting work you need to do.

What sort of water supply is required?

Quill Falcon portable dustless blasting machines use potable water and this can be either gravity fed or from mains pressure.

What sort of power supply is required?

No external power source is required to be able to operate our wet blasting equipment, giving you operational flexibility and the ability to work just about anywhere.

What air supply is required?

Quill Falcon portable dustless blasting machines come with their own air supply in the trailer-mounted systems Falcon 60 and Falcon 120. All other freestanding systems require their own air supply, ranging from 130cfm to 750cfm. We can assist with all air supply requirements.

What size projects can be tackled?

You can use Quill Falcon Cyclone portable sandblasters in a wide range of applications and on jobs of all sizes, ranging from powder coating, high build epoxies, industrial coatings and heavy duty rust and corrosion removal. Our machines are suitable for jobs as small as a barbecue plates, to blasting projects as large as navy ships.
